Alan Ruiz is a Columbian musician whose style has been influenced by different genres such as Jazz, Classical, Latin and Rock. Alan started his musical journey at age 10 when he found an abandoned guitar at his grandparents house.

In 2012, he decided to start a career in music abroad and moved to Vancouver BC, where he studied classical guitar with Michael Strutt and jazz contemporary guitar at VCC School of Music.

From Morocco, Amine unifies the masses with his electrified Funk, Soul, Jazz and Afro-beat to the group, providing a unique sound that flows from a foundation of deep set grooves.

While also playing in various Vancouver-based groups, Amine is the guitarist for Serengeti and in the renowned group, Coco Jafro. His newly-formed ‘Viva Santana’group is an event to attend.
