Port Moody JAMZ

This was not an easy decision but it is the correct one.

The month of October has proven to be one of great disappointment. Three shows have been cancelled due to poor ticket sales despite a greatly enhanced social media / promotional effort. This has been quite costly in time and resources and the whole experience has taken its toll both mentally and physically.

It has been a great pleasure meeting and supporting so many fine musicians that I’ve come to know and I will miss the satisfying moments of introducing you all to an expectant audience. To you all, a profound thank you.

There are probably several reasons why sales have taken a downward turn no doubt, but one can only surmise. I am not alone. The marketplace in the entertainment world is definitely soft. A friend who is a professional photographer and is constantly working at live music events has stated that he has never seen so many shows with low attendance as he has this year.

It has been in many ways a very rewarding experience but this chapter must now close.

Any advance tickets that have been purchased will be refunded over the next few days.

Sincerely,

Bruce
